Angus-Miller Ltd. is a full service Managing General Agency servicing brokers throughout the three Maritime Provinces.  We represent leading Canadian Insurers and Lloyds of London.

Angus-Miller Ltd. began as an independent insurance agency when Col. John R.Miller returned to Saint John from the first World War in 1919.  He operated his agency for many years before selling to a young C. Douglas Kirby who had just returned from his naval service after the Second World War.   William M. Angus for his part, began his agency in 1931 and on his retirement in 1949 he sold the agency to Kirby.  They then merged the two agencies to form Angus-Miller Ltd.

John A. Kimball joined the agency in 1957 and acquired a minority interest in the firm. Kirby elected to retire in 1973 and sold his interest in Angus-Miller Ltd to Kimball and new partners John C. Mason and J. Robert Gibb.
